We’re all familiar with coffee house giants like Starbucks or the Second Cup. But we shouldn’t overlook the smaller, independent coffee shops that pop around all major cities.
Black Forest Espresso is one such small coffee shop. They are located at the Country Club Gate Center, in Pacific Grove, California. You’ve probably never heard of them, unless you happen to live in Pacific Grove.
You will have many great choices when ordering your drinks. They make espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, machiatos, mochas, hot chocolates and spiced chai tea. If you prefer a bit more flavour, they have 24 different Torani syrups to choose from. They have iced versions too.
While they do serve a wide range of coffee and espresso drinks, the style of the place is much more like a small sandwich shop. No cozy couches or low lighting. It has a cafeteria feel to it, which is great when having a bite to eat but you may not want to get cozy and linger of your coffee.
They sell many food products as well as their drinks. Black Forest has many varieties of fine chocolates, frozen yogurt, smoothies, fruit juices, bagels, soups and sandwiches. The perfect menu selection for stopping off at lunch time.
